The what you say?  Starting with the all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler, a cool new medium gray color called Sting-Gray is available.  This is a non-metallic clear-coat paint that stands out from the other Billet Silver and Granite-Crystal offerings of the Wrangler.  The users — like me — at JLWranglerForums are very passionate about this new color.  I started this site for fun and to build a passionate community around the beautiful new JL!

Although some of you may already be subscribers to this site, new subscriptions are currently closed.  I have not had the time to prepare anything for the existing subscribers and I was starting to get robots creating accounts…  If any subscribers have suggestions or would like to share with the club, I recommend using the JLWranglerForums site.

More Sting-Gray for 2019

Posted by on Aug 30, 2018 in BLOG

YouTuber JeepInformant posted a new video yesterday after he got his hands on the 2091 FCA Exterior Paint Guide (video here).  In it he notes that Sting-Gray is not only sticking around for 2019, but will expand and be available across the entire Jeep lineup.  So, we may also be seeing some 2019 Cherokees (and Grand), Compasses and (late availability) Renegades in our beloved neutral shade of awesomeness soon!

The current online Build & Price tools do not reflect the options, and I have not confirmed anything beyond the scope of JI’s video.

Another noteworthy point from his news, there is NO green option listed for 2019 Wranglers…  So, no MOJITO!, or any other shade listed in that guide…  Have a look at the video link above for more on that.
